Parasols
I made a series of silk batik parasols. I found a lady who could make the basic form in the white silk fabric I provided, and I worked on them once they were made. I have used a wide series of dyes in these - naphthols, indigosols, soga [all Indonesian dyes], and probably some fibre reactive dyes although these aren't my particular choice for batik.
