It is the Geolomancer’s responsibility to organise and implement the search for new metal deposits. His Robe [the office is traditionally male] shows symbolically the veins of matal and the stones. The double sleeve suggests that a rich potential for jewels lies hidden beneath what looks like ordinary rock. Geolomancer’s colours are always rich, vibrant and often metallic, indicating the value placed on the whole of Irusaqi metallurgy, the source of all the planet's exports to other members of the Imperium. On this Robe, the black lines signify a line of search which has not been fruitful, while coloured ones show successful predictions. The office of Geolomancer is one of great prestige and wields enormous power.
