My only needlepoint tapestry ever [not counting the wonky ballerina when I was 13]. Sad really, because my grandmother was a tapestry genius, but I find it terribly restricting having to go into each proper hole. This one is set into a handmade iris paper frame, mounted on indigo-dyed handmade cotton paper, and is also painted. As with all things you can't really do properly, I was very happy with it once it was finished.
